Welcome to Mashlytics, baseball and softball stat tracking app
Letter from the Developer
Hi,
Today I’m announcing the release of Mashlytics, a baseball and softball stat tracking app and hobby project that I’ve been dabbling with for a decade.
Spray Chart for my own plate appearances last season
My thoughts on baseball stat tracking are pretty simple:
You should control your baseball and softball stats. The more control you have, the less stress you feel about the team scorekeeper deciding if your ground ball a hit or an error.
Most baseball stat tracking tools are lame. Existing apps look old and janky. None of them feel like they were built by an actual baseball or softball player. Typically those apps make money by showing intrusive ads. Mashlytics will never have ads. I’d rather shut down the app entirely than have ads.
Somebody needed to build a good baseball stat tracker for individual players, not just teams. All the good baseball and softball stat tools are designed for teams. And I understand why — that’s where the money is. But what about the ballplayer who just likes logging their own at-bats and wants to nerd out about spray charts? Reality is, I’m that ballplayer so I built Mashlytics for myself.
Happy hitting and thanks for trying Mashlytics.
Cheers, Brian
